The Short Version: Many professional singles don’t have the time for all of the research, small talk, and coordination that online dating often requires. Yet online dating remains one of the most effective ways to meet a compatible partner. That’s why so many singles turn to Elite Dating Managers, a firm that helps people manage their online dating profiles and put their best foot forward. The platform offers practical advice and even provides ghostwriting services to help clients land great dates.

One of the most challenging aspects of online dating is the time commitment it requires. That can make finding love, or even a casual date, especially hard for busy professionals who can’t afford to wade through matches to find high-quality singles.

A survey published by the popular UK dating app Badoo found that its users spend an average of 10 hours per week searching for matches on the platform. While the amount of time devoted to online dating is different for everyone, successful singles find that it can be too big an investment.

However, many elite singles do enjoy the control they maintain with online dating as opposed to working with matchmakers who they entrust to make decisions on their behalf. But they still desire a more bespoke option that reduces the amount of work it takes to create a compelling profile.

That’s why many of them choose to work with Elite Dating Managers, a firm that takes some of that work off their plate. Janell O’Leary founded the company because she was a single, busy executive who spent too much time navigating online dating.

“I wanted to have it done for me,” she said.

Elite Dating Managers offers an array of profile and coaching services that take the hassle out of trying to find a date for young professionals. Its clients prefer to enjoy their downtime going on dates, not searching for them.

They also appreciate the power of outsourcing tasks that others are better suited for. And the team at Elite Dating Managers provides that expertise through profile consultations and even ghostwriting services.

A Dating Service Founded by a Busy Professional

When Janell sought a ghostwriter to help her weed out potential matches, she discovered that other professional women were doing the same. She recognized the potential and decided to start a company to fill the many needs of those singles.

She created a team to help with ghostwriting and soon expanded to helping people with their profiles. Before long, Janell’s idea became a full-time job, and she had to hire even more team members. In addition to ghostwriting services, the company now offers relationship coaching and profile improvement services.

Janell hired someone with a Ph.D. in psychology to manage the company’s coaching division, which customizes approaches for each client. Often, the work focuses on communication techniques for daters who don’t have much experience. They even offer mock dating opportunities so singles can practice their skills before going on a real date.

Other clients who reach out for coaching may go on many dates, but the dates don’t seem fulfilling. Either they can’t find someone with whom they’d want to create a long-term relationship, or they’ve lost the joy that should be inherent in the process.

“It depends on what the person needs. Situations are unique,” she said. “Some people date a lot in high school and college, and some don’t.”

Profile Services Teach Clients to Polish Looks and Send Messages

Janell said the majority of the people who work with Elite Dating Managers are generally inexperienced with dating. Many are men who live in San Francisco and New York and work in the technology industry.

“These are men who haven’t had a lot of time to be social or ever placed effort toward dating, relationships, or personal and social development,” she said. “They spend a lot of time working to be successful. But then they reach that, and they say, ‘Wait. Maybe I want someone to share this with.’”

Another large demographic of clients are professionals who don’t have the time to find quality dates online. People with time-consuming jobs, including pilots, doctors, and lawyers, may need extra help to land the right dates.

Along with ghostwriting and coaching, Janell’s team enjoys helping singles polish their online dating profiles. The work may include a complete online profile makeover. The professionals with Elite Dating Managers provide feedback on the profile, offer style advice, help with photo selection, and even edit photos if necessary.

Janell said profile makeovers have become especially popular as online dating has increased during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“People understand that it’s good to have a second opinion,” she said. “Our process includes the photo selection because photos can make such a dramatic difference. They’re really judged on their worst photo and not their best.”

Each profile should include four to six photos, with a clear headshot, clear body shot, one showing an activity the person enjoys, and, if possible, one showing compassion or closeness with friends, family, or a pet, Janell said.

The team also helps clients edit photos to correct colors and understand their best angle. They can even remove a blemish to make singles look their best.

Elite Dating Managers: Positioning Singles for Success in Love

The online dating experts with Elite Dating Managers offer profile services and coaching that help daters become more confident. It can help them find dates faster through expertly crafted profiles designed to attract more compatible partners.

“We ask basic questions about their hobbies and values, so it’s not too time-consuming for the clients,” she said. “If they’re not getting the people they are looking for, we can make it a lot more particular and focused on what they want in a partner. If someone is rarely going on dates and not getting matches, we make it broad and open-ended.”

So far, the team has helped facilitate at least six marriages and many more engagements. Elite Dating Managers recently added video coaching and image consulting to its list of services. Janell said the company would likely add other services as clients request them.

However, there’s never a guarantee that clients will find the love of their life. That involves many factors, Janell said.

“We do a lot to help people present themselves in the best way possible,” she told us. “We do a lot to connect people with people they would be interested in, but at the end of the day, it’s how that person feels. So we’re doing the administrative service to set people up and help them, but it’s how they feel about the person and chemistry.”
