The Short Version: Some singles are highly successful in their professional lives, but their personal lives need a little more attention. For whatever reason, incredibly attractive single men and women can sometimes slip through the cracks and lack the time, resources, or connections to find a compatible date. That’s where Bonnie Winston comes in. This celebrity matchmaker has a network of over 5,000 professional and personal contacts. She recruits many attractive individuals from New York City to Los Angeles and arranges high-quality dates for her clients. Bonnie Winston Matchmaker provides a unique, personalized service designed to match elite daters with the person of their dreams.

Since she was 16, Bonnie Winston has considered herself a matchmaker, but she didn’t turn pro for many years. First she spent decades working as an agent and scout for models and photographers.

As a personalized matchmaker, Bonnie Winston devotes all her energy to finding a perfect match for her clients.

In 1988, she opened her own photography agency in Beverly Hills, which was so successful that she moved it to New York City where she worked alongside major brands in the beauty and entertainment industries. Over the years, she built contacts from coast to coast and saw an opportunity to bring people together for more than just business goals — she could use her network to help people find their future spouses.

She founded the Bonnie Winston Matchmaker agency to put her matchmaking talents to good use. “I have always used my gut instinct,” she said. “About 10 years ago, I went professional, and now it is my life’s work to help people find love.”

Bonnie’s clients range in age from 26 to 65. She typically takes on 12 to 18 clients per year, screening everyone before agreeing to take them on. She relies on her vast contact list to connect her clients with beautiful and talented singles across the country. Her contacts aren’t just models — she can reach people in the medical, legal, and creative industries as well.

Her goal is to connect people who have the potential to build a long-term relationship based on innate compatibility and chemistry. Her high-end service caters to successful professionals who lead busy lifestyles and want to save time in the search for that special someone.

A Five-Person Team Screens Clients & Scouts Out Potential Dates

Bonnie Winston Matchmaker employs a small but dedicated team of women. Bonnie, Emily, and Kristy are the recruiters for the company. Their job is to find attractive, successful, and friendly people and convince them to join the company. They conduct extensive research on new candidates and screen everyone in an interview before arranging a date.

The recruiting team works hard to ensure that their contacts list is full of the most eligible singles in big cities across the US.

Bonnie told us she is constantly on the lookout for a good match for her clients. “I scout all the time. I don’t limit my scouting to just going to parties,” Bonnie said. “I am constantly scouting whether I’m at a high-end department store, the dry cleaners, or out at lunch.”

Bonnie Winston Matchmaker is a boutique agency run by five knowledgeable women.

The matchmaking team also includes media experts who raise the profile of the company as a whole. This helps them attract high-quality clients. Ruta is a publicist for the agency, and she has put Bonnie’s brand on the radar of some major publications, including the New York Post, Martha Stewart Weddings, PopSugar, and StyleCaster. Ruta also meets with clients and writes detailed profiles that show them in their best light.

Finally, Pamela, a social media strategist, helps to spread the word about Bonnie’s matchmaking skills via Instagram and Facebook. Bonnie Winston Matchmaker currently has over 3,100 followers on social media.

Choose Between Tier 1 or Tier 2 Matchmaking Services

Clients can choose between two types of matchmaking services. The tier one membership plan is called Custom VIP Matchmaking. That means you receive personalized assistance from experienced matchmakers, who screen and select date prospects based on compatibility. The rates are variable, but the average client pays $20,000 to tap into Bonnie’s network of high-quality singles. The celebrity matchmaker searches high and low for desirable dates for her clients, not resting until she sees them fall in love.

“I have a high success rate. I am not happy until my clients are,” she said. “For this price you get me and my team, along with alliances that I have formed with other matchmakers here and across the country.”

Bonnie only works with 12 or so VIP clients at a time because she wants to give them her full attention. She only takes on a new client when one of her former clients has found a relationship and put his or her membership on hold.

“No more disappointing dates of meeting people that posted old photos. With Bonnie, what she promised was what I got.” — Suzanne, a former client

Date a Base, the second tier of Bonnie’s matchmaking service, is more affordable but less personalized than the VIP service. This membership plan includes entry into Bonnie’s singles database and at least two dates with quality men deemed compatible. Many millennials choose this service because it is more affordably priced than the boutique service.

Although members of the database receive less hands-on and proactive services, they do often enjoy the dating experience and some have met a compatible person and gotten into a relationship or even gotten married.

In addition to the matchmaking services, Bonnie offers personal consultations for singles feeling stuck in a rut. The dating experts can offer guidance on wardrobe, appearance, conversational style, social skills, and online dating. The team also offers photo shoots for any singles creating a dating profile. “Anyone can fix people up,” Bonnie said, “but I go further by giving my clients dating tips and advice.”

Receiving Praise From Former Clients & the Press

Bonnie’s testimonial page is full of lovely quotes and pictures from happily matched couples. Some said they’d felt burnt out on dating or weren’t having success on dating platforms, and then Bonnie helped them get into the relationship they desired.

A career-oriented woman named Caroline decided to invest in her future by hiring Bonnie over a decade ago. “Bonnie introduced me to my husband,” she said. “My kids are now 11 and 13. She made my dreams come true.”

“After my divorce, I gave up on love,” Isaac said in a testimonial. “Bonnie gave me hope and proved me wrong.”

Bonnie has also been featured as a dating and relationship expert by Mental Floss, Your Tango, Bustle, Verily, and Women’s Health.

Over the years, Bonnie has seen many high-profile people walk into the sunset together after she has introduced them. She told us the story of one celebrity who felt skeptical that she’d ever find happiness in a relationship. She was down on the whole dating experience. The single woman asked Bonnie to connect her with another celebrity, but instead the matchmaker introduced her to a nice non-famous man. The couple hit it off and are still together.

“They are very happy — beyond her wildest dreams,” Bonnie said. “When I see an awards show, and I spot a celebrity that I fixed up and they thank their spouse, I just smile to myself and think, ‘Hey, I did that!'”

Bonnie Aims to Introduce Soul Mates, Not Just Dates

Bonnie changed careers from an agent to a matchmaker because she wanted to use her networking skills to unite successful singles in loving relationships. Her mission as a matchmaker is to guide people toward long-term happiness, not merely short-term dates. She approaches matchmaking with the heartfelt and earnest goal of bringing more love into the world. And that’s exactly what she has done for dozens of couples.

In the coming years, Bonnie plans to expand her reach throughout the US and Canada and network with other professionals in the industry.

“I look forward to expanding my relationships with other matchmakers across the country,” she said. “I don’t think of it as competition, but as working together to accomplish finding love for people.”
