The Short Version: For as far back as she can remember, Sam Owen has been passionate about helping people improve bonds with partners, family, friends, and even themselves. She believes relationships are critical to happiness and health, and, as a Certified Life Coach and Psychologist, she’s empowering singles and couples to uncover what they truly want out of life and love. With her warm demeanor and science-based approach to dating and relationship support, Sam’s putting her clients on paths that lead to positive change and lasting connections.Sam Owen

grew up in a large family with many personalities and relationship dynamics. As a result, she was able to develop a keen understanding of the ways humans interact and bond.

From an early age, Sam knew helping people would be in the cards for her. She ended up forging a career in counseling; however, she discovered the profession didn’t speak to her true passion for being an active agent of change for people.

“It really felt more like a problem- and past-focused approach, and it was at odds with my personal development at the time,” she said. “Someone mentioned life coaching to me. I launched my business with my first book, and the rest is history. That was over five and half years ago.”

Sam has found those who seek out her services are usually experiencing challenges and confusion surrounding their relationships. She has the ability to put clients at ease with her warm personality and desire to see them succeed in love and in life.

One of Sam’s clients who recalls experiencing some nerves before beginning her sessions found that, by the time she completed them, she had made a significant amount of progress.

“I must admit I was apprehensive, not to mention fearful,” Sam’s client said. “But talking my goals through with Sam gave me focus, the motivation to move my life forward, and led me to identify opportunities to fix what wasn’t working.”

Practical Dating Coaching With a Psychology-Based Approach

In terms of getting clients on the path to better relationships and extraordinary love lives, Sam doesn’t believe in wasting time. She helps them dive right into their issues and often sees changes taking place in as little as three to six sessions.

“Sam has been a fantastic listener and gave me practical advice on dating and relationships,” another client said. “As a result, I feel more positive and confident. My work and general outlook have improved. I am not stressed about the future, and I feel I will achieve my dreams and goals.”

Sam provides coaching opportunities for those still on the dating scene and for married couples and those in long-term relationships. Her clients are usually between the ages of 29 and 59 and are serious about finding the right someone to spend their tomorrows with.

“When I work with clients, they control the agenda in terms of the discussion,” she said. “I help clients by asking them key questions. I help them find the answers very intuitively. I know what clients need and how I can get the best out of them in honor of their goals.”

Sam gives her clients the opportunity to get clear on what they really want while tackling any roadblocks that have kept them from this goal. She told us this is done through psychological and practical approaches, but her endgame is always the same.

“My clients are usually in their own way, and I help them get out of it and, instead, start charging toward their goal,” she said.

Sam’s dating and relationship coaching packages are geared toward helping clients be proactive and find solutions to enact lasting change. Her business spans several continents as she meets with clients remotely as well as those local to her South Manchester, UK, office.

“Coaching is very much about the talking and the doing,” she said. “That’s why there has been so much fast success with coaching because it is about taking action and not just talking about it.”

Intuitive Confidence-Building Sessions That Reduce Anxiety

Sam knows from experience that clients struggling with anxiety need straightforward treatment that gets results by focusing on self-care techniques that help ease stress.

“Anxiety coaching gets to the root of the problem in three or possibly four sessions,” she said. “Clients learn very quickly what specifically is making them suffer, and how they can control their anxiety and life, rather than the other way around.”

One of Sam’s clients shared that her road to finding someone who could really help her anxiety had been difficult until meeting Sam.

“I felt comforted and respected while Sam challenged my limiting beliefs and helped me see things differently,” she said. “I feel great and much more able to move forward with my life.”

Sam told us clients also come to her to improve their relationships with themselves and rebuild their self-confidence.

“The bottom line is the relationship you have with yourself determines the relationships you have with other people,” she said. “People often come to me about themselves. Things like self-esteem, confidence-building, and helping with anxiety are key areas.”

A Caring Guide to Help Clients Tap Into Their Resilience

We all face challenges when it comes to life, relationships, career, health, and well-being. Sam has used her passion for helping others to write books that inspire her clients to achieve incredible changes.

Her latest publication, “Resilient Me: How to Worry Less and Achieve More (4 Weeks to Inner Strength),” is a practical guide to building everyday resilience. The book is a collection of insightful studies, tips, and suggested lifestyle changes. Sam teaches readers to make simple tweaks in their lives by implementing day-to-day habits that improve their relationships. “Resilient Me” is available for purchase on Amazon.

“In the book, I essentially talk about the three pillars of resilience and some resilience-strengthening habits that we can indulge in — whether it’s every day or in the face of an unexpected challenge,” she said. “It’s fun, easy to implement, and absolutely transforms your mental well-being and your life. I’m so excited because it will help so many people.”

Resilient Me can be purchased as a paperback and as an e-book. Her publishers at Orion applaud her for writing in such a natural, warm, yet authoritative manner. Sam has also written two other books, “500 Relationships & Life Quotes” and “Relationship Remedies.” She believes her books expand her reach to help people relate to others.

“If you help people to be happy, it has a ripple effect on the people around them, and that has a ripple effect on mankind, so it’s really important.”

Next for Sam: Expanding Into Television & Radio to Continue Transforming Lives

Sam continues to develop her brand by fusing modern knowledge from various disciplines and fields of research to bring fresh relationship solutions to her clients. She’s worked hard to create viable relationships with well-known brands, including Cosmopolitan, BBC Breakfast, The Telegraph, BBC Radio, Hallmark, and Elite Singles, among others.

Her television, radio, public speaking expertise, online presence, and relationship blog have garnered praise and recognition all over the world. Sam has been hired by some of the most prestigious firms to assist with broadcasts, PR campaigns, and provide consultant services. In all of the opportunities she takes on, she is highly praised for her abilities, professionalism, and expertise.

“It’s huge to me to know that I’m having such an impact on so many lives,” she said. “When you get a random email from a client whose life you’ve changed — that is payment in and of itself. I love helping people. This work makes me so deeply happy and fulfilled.”
