Tarzan and Jane had little in common on a lifestyle level, but they still found a way to build a pretty darn good life together. More and more often in this age of the modern, empowered woman, we find ourselves attracted to fabulous ladies with whom we seem to share no common interests. Is it worth the effort to try to make it work? Well, if she is the sweetheart that rings your bell, then damn the torpedoes! Full steam ahead!
I know, there’s no way you’re giving up your burgers and beer for tofu and alfalfa sprouts. A self-respecting man has to draw the line somewhere. After all, food is the centerpiece of every ethnic culture and family gathering, and it brings comfort and constancy to our lives. Still, small concessions can kindle a great connection.

You like the great outdoors, camping, fishing and golfing. She likes the art museum, theater, chick flicks and antiques. While you’re dating, this can be awkward because you will want to do things together. If you stay together for the long-term, however, it can actually work out quite well for her to be scouring garage sales and flea markets for antiques while you’re on the links.
Early on, we can live with most anything to have our favorite lady by our side for the day. Maybe you can hop from the art museum to see the robotics exhibit at the science museum, which you might not have taken the time to see on your own. She will compromise on movies too, as even most action/adventure flicks have enough kissing to satisfy your romantic lady for a couple of hours.
The key is to always be willing to compromise and experience new things, whether it’s food, music, or activities. You never know, sushi might become your new favorite food, and you might really enjoy discovering just exactly how Stella lost her groove.
