How to Get a Bachelor to Settle Down

If you want to get a cowboy to retire from the rodeo, you buy him a ranch. If you want to get a chef to retire from the restaurant business, you build him a state-of-the-art kitchen and bring the whole family over for dinner every Sunday. If you want to get a confirmed bachelor to settle down and get married, you offer him a life too good to refuse.

There are basically three things that make a man reject the advantages of marriage in favor of life as a bachelor:

1. Vowing to give up sex with all other women…forever.
2. Committing to stay with the same woman day after day…forever.
3. Fearing he will lose the independence to enjoy the lifestyle he loves…forever.

It takes a unique and special woman (like you) to pull it off, but like any good sales job, it’s just a matter of overcoming objections.

The problem many bachelors have with every girlfriend is simple: She is not seven different women. If she could be a different girl every day of the week, he would have no problem staying with her forever. That’s not a problem for a girl like you.

You can be a cowgirl in blue jeans and pigtails one day, a sweetheart in a cotton peasant dress the next, and a glamorous starlet on the weekend. Just make sure each of his girls like a different variety of sex.

One can be sweet and submissive, one can be naughty and insatiable, and another can be a borderline dominatrix in high heels, stockings and garters.

However you do it, never let life or sex get boring. Keep him guessing by experimenting with different looks, personalities or sexual styles. Or at least have fun and keep things fresh. He has to know sex will be abundant and amazing.

He has no problem committing to a career or to a weekly golf game with the guys. The more you can become an integral part of his life, the easier it will be for him to get comfortable with the idea of waking up next to you every day.

Make waking up a pleasant experience. He will come to depend on your good morning kisses and tender touch. Men like morning sex a lot more than women seem to, so initiate it once in a while before the alarm goes off.

Take an interest in his hobbies and be supportive of his football or golf games. Have meals together and go to the store together.

Get to know and love his family and his friends, too. Become part of his reality, and then make an excuse to go and stay with your sister for a few days so he can feel how cold and empty life is without you.

Don’t begrudge him his time alone, at work or with the guys. Yes, there has to be a limit and there has to be plenty of time for you. But ease him into it, and always leave him room to run free or he will resent you.

Never nag and always use incentives and charm to get your way rather than edict or anger.

Allow him to decorate his man cave in green and gold. Don’t harp about his Xbox addiction while he’s playing, but address it in a gentle way later. Embrace his family and accept his offers when he asks you to come along, even if it’s hiking or rock climbing.

Be his biggest fan and supporter, not his ball and chain.

A real cowboy never really gives up the rodeo all together, and you shouldn’t expect a man to give up life as he knows it for marriage. You have to offer him everything he has now plus all the perks of being with you.

Just let him see all the ways his life will be better and fuller with you in it, and you’ll have him on one knee before you know it.
