Reader Question:

I am a teenager and my boyfriend and I had been on for almost half a year. I accidentally opened his Facebook account he left open on my computer and I saw his conversation with a girl — an acquaintance of mine.

I read that he tried to court us at the same time. I tried not to mind it until the date that I said “yes” to him, but he still keeps asking her for pictures and says he misses her and wants to meet her sometime.

I know it’s my fault for snooping, but I dare you not to be curious when you find out that you’re boyfriend is doing this stuff without you knowing.

-Audrey H. (New York)

Dr. Wendy Walsh’s Answer:

Online flirting and courting is still cheating. You boyfriend is cheating on you. I’d confront him about it and set up relationship rules that you are comfortable with.
