Our WealthyMen.com review is basically a dating guide for successful men and attractive women who are seeking a rich lifestyle.

When I was in college, I had a friend who was studying to be a teacher, but her real dream was to be a homemaker and stay-at-home mom. She wanted to fall in love and get married to a man who could provide that kind of life for her — so she didn’t have to work in an office 40+ hours a week and could instead focus on raising children.

People often looked down on her for that, and it seemed a little unfair. I admired her for knowing what she wanted and for going for it. Plus, there are plenty of men out there who are looking for someone like her to turn a house into a home.

WealthyMen.com is an upscale dating site where women, like my friend, can meet affluent men who have the means to pamper a partner and take care of a family. Below, you’ll find our expert reviews of the site, feedback we’ve read from users, as well as three other options worth considering as you seek a rich partnership.

Founded in 2003, WealthyMen.com was one of the first dating sites made specifically for attractive, charismatic women looking to meet successful, ambitious men. It’s an old-school sugar dating site that still works. Every male member must make at least $85,000 a year, and that income will be verified (along with his profession and photos). This helps ensure that no one is getting scammed.

According to SimilarWeb.com, a website traffic and analytics comparison site, WealthyMen.com sees 75,000 monthly users, and the team says there are over 100 people online at any given time.

The WealthyMen app is available for free via iTunes, where it has three and a half stars.

Signup is free and will take about 10 minutes at the most, and you can do that via desktop or the App Store. You’ll provide information like your income (ranges include $100,000 to $500,000 per year, $500,000 to $2 million per year, or $2 million+ per year), age, gender, location, sexual orientation, and what you’re looking for in a partner. Then you can upload photos (up to nine) and browse profiles by using the same information you provided.

Some of the features on WealthyMen include reading and sending messages, sending virtual winks, creating a Favorites list, rating members, as well as seeing who’s online now. You can also see who’s a new member, who’s viewed your profile, and who’s expressed interest in meeting. However, most, if not all, of these features are only available to singles who sign up for a Standard or Gold membership. Here’s what you need to know about the pricing:

WealthyMen.com offers a blog with tips on dating, beauty, fashion, and travel, among other topics.

While we’re disappointed that a free membership on WealthyMen is so limited, we did find several reviews online from people who’ve had a good experience, including Uly37, who wrote on Apple.com:

“The guys I’ve met using the app are really great. Also the fact that you can tell who is verified makes a huge difference when browsing.”

But, as with anything, we also found negative reviews of the site and app. GroovyOne shared her story on ComplaintsBoard.com, saying:

“This online dating service is horrible. I am a very attractive woman, and I live in Hollywood. There should be hundreds of single men to choose from. There are only about 30 men! That includes about eight different zip codes in the Los Angeles area. Not only that, they send you a search from all of California. I did a 25-mile search and got a guy from Napa (over 300 miles away!)”

We’d say the most important takeaways about Match are that the site has more than 13.5 million monthly visitors (exponential compared to WealthyMen) — not to mention it’s had more than 42 million signups since it was launched in 1995. You won’t find more prosperous men on any other dating site. Over 75% have graduated from college. Plus, it’s 100% free to create a profile, add photos, search for and receive matches, send likes and winks, add Favorites, and reply to messages — way more than what you can do on WealthyMen.
