In fact, one of her own team members, Dee, started out as a client at Dynamic Introductions. She married the man Elaine introduced her, too, and they now work together to bring others to their own happily ever afters. “She is a walking and talking testimonial in the office,” Elaine said.

Another woman named Eva found love on her second introduction, which took place after a speed dating event, and has recently sent Elaine a save-the-date card for her wedding. “I had a strong feeling they would hit it off,” Elaine said,  “and they have not been apart from each other since!”

Eva would not have met her soon-to-be husband without the gentle encouragement of her matchmaker and friend. Elaine said she was particularly pleased to put this couple together because the man, Michael, is a widower.

“I live for helping people like these two incredible people,” she told us, adding, “I do this as a legacy to the memory of my late husband. I know he does much to guide me, and I think he’s pretty proud of me from up above.”

Elaine lost her husband, Tony, in 2011 to brain cancer, so she has a particular soft spot for clients dealing with loss in their lives. She empathizes with their experiences and does her best to help them heal by finding a second chance at love. She said she considers her work as a matchmaker a tribute to his memory and their remarkable love story. Dynamic Introductions currently has a 100% success rate among widows and widowers.

“Becoming a widow is something I find to be such a heartbreak, for men and women,” she said. “But I want to share the belief that love carries on with those who have suffered that type of loss.”
