Online dating

is a fantastic and easy way to meet potential partners, but you can’t be too careful when it comes to protecting your privacy online.

The best profiles say a lot without saying too much. What I mean by that is your profile should show potential dates who you are without giving away every single detail about yourself. Make sure the name and email you use on a dating site doesn’t include your last name. For your dating profile, try to use another email besides your personal or work one. When describing yourself, never mention what street you live on, which subdivision you live in or where you work. If you like to jog to the nearest park every morning, it’s OK to say that without mentioning the name of the park. Use an updated picture and always be honest in your descriptions of yourself.

The most important thing is to be safe and have fun while searching for your perfect match.
