The Short Version: Exhausted by swiping right, late nights in loud bars, and the seemingly endless search for your match? If you’re near Alberta, Canada, professional matchmaker Krystal Walter can connect you with people who share your values, and are looking for long-term relationships. Her database includes men and women from 25 to 65, with varying interests, careers, and visions for the future. Krystal Walter Matchmaking offers different levels of membership depending on your needs. From professional photos to dating counseling, Krystal and her team will prepare you to meet that special someone who sparks your interest.

The idea that the next person you date could be “The One” is why so many singles happily spend money on dating websites, dating apps, and speed dating events. Many will get dressed in their best outfit, fix their hair, and waltz into a date feeling hopeful — only to be let down by the experience.

Then the process starts all over again as they continue the search for the next possible Mr. or Ms. Right. The search for a relationship tends to leave many singles feeling exhausted and disheartened.

If you’re at the point where you don’t want to feel alone in a sea of daters, why not consider adding a matchmaker to your team? That strategy has worked for many of the singles who have partnered with Krystal Walter, a trusted matchmaker in Alberta, Canada.

Since 2012, Krystal’s skillful matchmaking has brought together more than 120 couples, all of whom formed long-term relationships — some even resulting in marriage.

Krystal said that meeting the perfect partner can sometimes take daters by surprise.

“A client who I caught up with recently lived in one city and her match lived in another. They even had a 15-year age difference between them,” she said. “But they’ve been together now for four years, and they’re still living in separate cities.”

Krystal helps singles find matches through personal and patient evaluation. Unlike other online dating services, her goal is to find relationships that are real and lasting right from the start.

Krystal Knows the Right and Wrong Ways to Find Love

Before Krystal decided to become a professional matchmaker, she went to a few matchmakers herself. But none of them were successful.

“It just didn’t work out for me — for many reasons. They were big companies, and I just thought I could do it better,” Krystal said. “On a whim, I started my own business, and I got busy immediately. I’ve been doing it ever since.”

Krystal Walter began matchmaking after her experience with impersonal dating websites.

She currently operates in Calgary but plans to expand throughout Canada. In addition to her matchmaking services, she offers advice for daters looking to attract a partner through an online profile.

For men, she suggests they not lie about their height. For women, Krystal advises being honest about their age.

“It’s about lifestyle. If you’re fit and vibrant, age really doesn’t matter,” Krystal said. She added that people should consider expanding their dating range by five years in both directions.

Matchmaking With an Expert Is More Personal Than Online Dating

Most online dating websites use an algorithm to find matches, but Krystal’s approach is quite different — and more personal.

Clients meet with her in person and fill out a questionnaire about their education, occupation, hobbies, and interests. She asks them about their lifestyle and what they’re looking for in a partner. After evaluating their profile, she sends them a few potential love interests from her database of singles. Client feedback on those matches helps Krystal learn even more about them.

Krystal takes a personal approach to matchmaking by getting to know her clients.

Krystal’s program has three levels of membership. The classic membership includes professional photography and date coaching, while the executive membership gives users access to more matches — and can be upgraded to unlimited.

Finally, the President’s Club is available for those clients — like politicians or professional athletes — who wish to have an added level of confidentiality. They benefit from custom search options, ads on social media, and pre-approval of their matches.

But regardless of your membership level, Krystal and her team are there to help every step of the way.

“We help people get ready for dating,” she said. “If we have to help you with your hair, or makeup, or get a stylist, we will. We have a dating coach focused on helping you get ready.”

Not Just Professionals: All Daters Can Benefit from a Matchmaker

Many of the singles in Krystal’s database are between 30 and 40, but the majority of her clients are over 50. She recently began working with gay men interested in long-term relationships.

However, not all of her clients are white-collar professionals, and Krystal wants to make sure people can find love through her matchmaking services no matter their income.

“We work with all types of people and accommodate all lifestyles,” she said. “We do everything we can to include everyone.”

Krystal Has a Small Team With Big Plans to Grow Her Reach

Krystal works with a small team that includes an assistant, a social media expert, and a dating coach. The all-female staff gets together once a week to review the progress of Krystal’s clients and discuss how they can help further. They love it when two people they’ve connected find lasting love, she said.

Along with introducing gay men into her database, Krystal said she is expanding to help lesbians and other members of the LGBTQ community find their perfect partners. She’s also extending her reach through writing.

“I’ve been working on a couple of books,” Krystal said. “For every person you match, there’s one you don’t. It’s not always easy, so it feels good when you know you’re making matches.”
