Erin told us she had always been interested in human interactions, especially in terms of dating, and, from what she’d been hearing on the red carpet and from colleagues and friends, most singles in LA had the same complaints.

“So many people I run into feel that there are no good people to meet in LA and can’t stand the dating scene,” she said. “So I began blogging to remind people of the magic of this city. I wanted to get it through to them that this is an amazing town. Even on a Monday afternoon, there’s always something to do.”

Erin’s blog experienced a fast rise in popularity. She then began a podcast and started to hold public speaking events and engage in private dating and relationship coaching. This resulted in Erin’s status as The Dating Advice Girl, a title that has people turning to her in droves to learn what they want out of a relationship and how to make it a reality.

“People want a variety of things these days,” she said. “Some want to receive more matches on their dating profiles. I get a lot of people who come to me who are newly single and are looking to get back in the dating game. My coaching ends up being catered to whatever someone’s needs are. That way, each individual can craft their sessions with me based on what they’re looking for.”
