But it can also be a waste of time.”

Multiple Reddit users on a thread asking for a good lesbian dating app recommended HER. User TA2682 said “Her is the best imo” and MagicKraft agreed, writing “HER is by far the best one.”   

Another popular dating app is the women-centric app Bumble. Though it’s not designed specifically for lesbians or queer women, it is female-founded and encourages women to make the first move. It was pretty awesome though because you could choose each group specifically and only people who are interested in your chosen group will see you. You can also put multiple orientations like asexual + lesbian, which is how my partner ended up in my pool (turns out we’re not asexual, just lesbians lol).”

Itssummeragain shared that the only potential downside of OkCupid is the fact that either person can message first so “it may be a little nerve-wracking for shy people.”
